In developing our online solution, we adopted an open architecture approach, allowing core functionality to be supplemented with mini-applications as needs arise or technology evolves. This ensures we can provide robust, integrated and properly supported online solutions for our clients.
This approach has led to the development of Advance Press Online (AP Online).
Currently we have more than 400 clients using AP Online. It enables easy ordering of all their business print essentials 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most importantly, our clients are able to compare and manage their monthly print spend by department, product, delivery point, and value as well as monitor who ordered the product, from viewing stock on hand to cost centre and category spend analysis. AP Online provides clients easy desktop access to their products for instant viewing of pricing and product availability online. AP Online allows clients to control access and set authority levels based on secure individual user logins. Product selection can be restricted and approvals set by order, item value or a specified budget. They can also capture expenditure by cost centre or department and control purchasing. Ordering via AP Online removes the hassle of repetitive processes by allowing clients to set up frequent order templates for multiple uses.
